I adore computers and all that we can do with them, but, in spite of the tech-heavy focus of my work, I do not define myself in the usual tech terms. Rather, first and foremost, I am an artist. I mean this less as a grand statement, and more as a way of explaining my approach to life. The artist absorbs information, reflects upon it, creates an expression of this synthesized knowledge, and shares it. In this way, art is the lens through which I see all that I do. It’s about noticing and responding. Creation as a default mode with the omnipresent intention of benefiting all of humanity in one’s actions.
I take information in, process it, and allow myself to respond via a creative act without getting in the way of whatever that intuitive output is. Sometimes this output is software, other times it is a business, other times it is a sculpture or painting. Always, the output is predicated on and about love.
